Reconstructive Micro-surgery
Micro-Neural
Nerves are like coaxial cables. They carry electrochemical
signal to and from the brain. Approximately 60% of their cross
sectional area is fibrous tissue, not the axons (or fascicles)
that carry the signals themselves.

With microsurgical techniques direct coaptation of the nerve
or nerve grafting may be carried out with more accuracy and,
hopefully, greater return of function.
It is the belief of the Center that careful “mapping”
of the nerve and “grouped fascicular repair” will
give superior results.
