Latest News in Facelifts: The MACS facelift

Dr Dabb has been performing the MACS (Minimal Access Cranial Suspension Lift) facelift for over 6 months.

This procedure can give significant cosmetic improvement with minimal risk of complication and minimal downtime. In some patients, it may be performed in the office under local anesthesia in the office. Its basic principle is the suspension of sagging facial features by a strong, permantent purse-string sutures. These sutures give a truly vertical lift, which provide a natural, non-facelifted apprarance.

There is minimal dissection and the procedure is not in the proximity of vital nerves that could lead to deformity. With minimal dissection, there is much less recovery time.

Latest News in Skin Resurfacing: the “ Diamond Peel”

We have introduced the new DiamondTome Skin Resurfacing system to our practice. This skin rejuvenation technology is innovative and produces superior results.

This system is regarded as gentler than other systems. There are no crystals or other loose abrasives that are present is most other systems.

This system helps rejuvenate sun damaged skin of any region, reduces age spots and blotchy skin, reduces acne scars, and assists in exfoliation of blackheads. It will accelerate the results of most topical skin care programs.

Pain Management Article Published

Dr. Dabb was the senior author of an article recently published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery , the journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

This research shows the efficacy of new pain pump technology in the management of post-operative pain. It has allowed many patients to have a much less stressful post-operative course and for many procedures, that usually required admission for pain management, to be performed as an out-patient. Dr Dabb has applied most of these principles to his practice of cosmetic surgery.
